Book the Band

The Swinging Belles can provide an evenings entertainment to suit your budget and tailor the music to suit your needs within the boundaries of jazz. They do not play any "modern" music. However their music is suitable to dance to and can be very upbeat and they always leave the parties with the dancers wanting more.

Examples of the line up:

Cabaret Set:

The Swinging Belles could be the icing on the cake for your corporate event, themed day or party. They would perform a 45-60 minute set of harmony tunes from the 1920-40's. A small group or pianist would back them.

Jazz Evening/Summer Barbeque/Outdoor festivals:

Accompanied by some of the country's leading jazz musicians, The Swinging Belles can provide a whole night's entertainment. As close harmony singing can be too much all night, the girls all sing songs from the era individually and then join together throughout the evening for their trio numbers. The band would add drums and another instrumentalist such as violin, trumpet or saxophone. Particularly suitable for weddings and parties where the guests would like to dance.

Big Band and The Swinging Belles:

If you are planning a really big event, then The Swinging Belles fronting a full size swing band is spectacular. Ideal for ballroom dancing and creating a very special night to remember.

General

All the musicians including the Belles are full time with great experience of playing with international stars. The music ranges from early New Orleans style to the swinging forties. If you would prefer the band to represent just one era from that time they will be happy to do so and dress accordingly.

The musicians all have public liability insurance and their electrical equipment is tested regularly.
